I'm a BIM Manager, and I've been partial to the MX Anywhere mouse my entire career. The high quality middle mouse button and dual action scroll wheel are essential for increasing my productivity. I used the 1st generation of this mouse for around 7 years before switching to the newer version. The rechargeable battery with micro-usb connection is genius. The battery life is very good, but if you need charge the mouse, you can plug it in and keep working. I also think that the matte is also a nice improvement over the original version, because it doesn't attract finger prints like old glossy finish.
It’s a great mouse pad with cool features - namely the charging port obviously. There’s nowhere to stick or attach it when not in use which is a bit sucky as I don’t have a complete desk and misplace it a lot, but it’s not worth knocking any stars off as it’s just me being absent minded.
It charges though but eventually will start giving you % once it sits for a while if you’re not using your phone. It comes with an android and an iPhone charger. I’ve also used it to charge my PS4 controller and my wireless headphones. Anything will charge as long as it can be plugged into the adapter and set flat on the table to the adapter can hover the charging port. The actual texture of the mouse pad is nice - a smooth carbon like texture.
If it breaks, i’ll be sad but I’d order a new one. I did get the warranty though so if I ever need to speak to them about a replacement I’ll come back and update on the customer service.
The only thing is the adapters for the mouse pad charging pad come loose with no where to hold them hen not being used. I had to put them in a used Altoid's container because they keep getting misplaced as you move stuff around on the desk. Would be nice if the pad as big as it is had a little dock for them to hold them in one place, The loose pieces are destined to be lost at some point before the pad goes.
I love this mouse, but one thing the directions say it will connect with any setup to a Windows PC but it did not, ended up having to use the USB dongle, the directions also said there may be some setup if using a Mac, well I think the directions are a little backwards because it connected to my Mac without any issue but would not connect bluetooth to my windows 7 pc, when I used the USB dongle it worked great so not sure what is going on with that, but it's a great mouse and love it being rechargeable, I've had it for over a month charged it one time so far, works great.
I travel a fair bit and sometimes I need to create process flows, software stack diagrams and messaging sequence charts - all of which are much easier with a mouse than the touchpad. I do not care for the usual Apple magic mouse and Logitech mice have been my go to weapon of choice since Windows 95 and BSD OS. My requirements were a bluetooth mouse that moved across the screen flawlessly, had physical left and right buttons, a scroll wheel and much loved back button. Track anywhere/everywhere would also be a plus. I also wanted the mouse to be small, but not tiny. Perfection achieved with the Logi MX Anywhere 2S. This bad boy just worked 100% on connecting to my MacBook pro, no setup required.Pros: everything worked, small form factor, lightweightCons: none that I observeLogi, how I love thee. Keep it up!
I’ve now had this keyboard for about 6 years. My wife and kids kept destroying other keyboards. I had a fancy solar Logitech that was destroyed when a drink was spilled. That was the last straw. By this point, I was several hundred dollars into keyboards. So I spent a few hours searching for a new keyboard when I ran across this one. The kids are still getting it dirty and sticky and occasionally spill on it. When this happens, I just unplug it, take it to the kitchen sink and scrub the heck out of it. This thing just keeps going. Not a single letter has rubbed off and it works and looks as good as the day I bought it. I highly recommend this one for anyone that is sick of keyboard accidents. It’s a great looking keyboard to boot.
As a Network Engineer, I spend a lot of time using my laptop in uncomfortable locations. This mouse performs regardless of the surface I have to use it on including at times my pants lol. the movement is precise and crisp. I use several systems with this mouse and that makes it very convenient. I have owned it for several months and have yet had to charge the battery.
