Didn’t last as long as I had hoped but was good while it worked

I've used this edition mouse for 10 years. Its still the best for gaming or daily use. I only replaced the first one because the cord rubbing on my desk in one spot finally got through the braided fabric cover.Responsiveness is great and there's never any interference with a wired connection. The adjustable weight is a nice feature though I've kept mine at max weight since I got it. That gives it more of a substantial feel and doesn't feel like a cheap plastic thing in your hand like many mice.I should probably stock up on a few so I can use these forever.

This mouse is amazing. It lasted me 7 years. That's a good deal for the 40$ I bought it for. This mouse did everything I wanted it to. It was comfortable for my half palm and half fingertip grip. I bought the 502G Hero Logitech since I couldn't find this one again. Unfortunately they shipped me a piece of hot trash because after just 10 months the left mouse button started sticking and I have to replace it.

I have owned dozens and dozens of mice over the years, most of them being a logitech mouse. This in all honesty is the best mouse I have ever used. They are extremely durable, and with the adjustable weights even better. It conforms perfectly to my hand.

I purchased this mouse back in 2009 and it's still as great today as it was 11 years ago. Some people complain about build quality, but my cord and mouse are working flawlessly. I have my buttons all programmed to do the things I need. I am surprised to still see this thing for sale. I suspect I wouldn't purchase it again today if I was looking for a mouse as there are others that are most likely more ergonomic but I am happy with this purchase.

It lasted about four years. The right Mouse button started the stick and feel gritty. I opened it up, cleaned it, but it didn't seem to make any difference. It's still functional but I ended up replacing it. It's too bad too cuz I really liked this mouse.

of hard gaming

Still my all-time favorite Logitech gaming mouse even though the left-click buttons eventually wear out, which is why I bought a few OEM spares to keep me gaming should my current mouse die on me. :D

After 4 years and 8 months of daily use the left button died. This was a good buy and I'd get it again if it was available.

This mouse lasted me years. I literally mean years. I ended up buying the next gen mouse, G502 because my G500 was soooo warn down due to thousands of hours of use. The G500 is easily the best mouse I've had so far. Although, the G502 does come close.

Veru good for gamers

good for gaming, been using for months, good as new

My favorite mouse by far. I upgraded just about everything i had back when Battlefield 3 came out. I bought my first G500 at this time (2011). I purchased two more after using it for a few months. I have one that travels with me for work, one that stays with my personal laptop, and one for my desktop. I have never had any problems with any of them after all these years, and unless forced, I never plan on using a different mouse again. I cannot recommend this mouse enough.

The best mouse I have ever owned. I have had it sense 2010 or 2011, and It performs just as well as the day I bought it.

ive been using this mouse for 5 years so far, and 90% of that use is heavy gaming playing mostly fps games. this mouse rocks. dpi changing is easy, the logitech software is very user friendly and the thumb buttons are AMAZING. the scroll wheel ccan go between the clicky kind of scroll which is great for gaming and the infinite scroll for browsing. seriously cant say enough good things about it. the braided cord is top quality and ive never had any issues with this mouse AFTER 5 YEARS OF HEAVY USE. just take care of it and it will last. although i dont know why this mouse is over 100 dollars now. when i bought it on amazon it was 50.

I bought this mouse nearly 8 years ago when my older Logitech LX700 KB/Mouse Combo died after 10 years of use.I replaced the LX700 with a Logitech G110 Keyboard, and this G500 Gaming Mouse. For the past 8 years, it has been flawless and worked exceptionally well. I love its Dual Mode wheel, which allows toggling the wheel between a smooth scroll, and a clicky scroll; while it also has the Tilt Wheel feature, which allows you to tilt the wheel to the left or right to act as extra mouse buttons. The DPI is very fast and very responsive.

Love this mouse.. I 've had it for 4 years and it has developed some weird double clicking problem. Too bad, because this thing is awesome.

great mouse: the feel with adjustable weight really makes a difference, I bought a second one to use in a decade or so when production on this model halts

have had 2 of these last about 2-3 years til they die. loved the counter weights fit perfeectly in my hand. still have not found a better feeling mouse.
