Everything out of the box looked good except for the fact that the mounting tabs for my motherboard was missing a piece so I had to scavenge a piece from the old mount to make this one work. Being that it's so tall it is a little hard to work with but not awful. Expect small cuts on your hand 100%. The fan is a little louder than I expected but It's not unbearable. I like they provide extra fan clips to add another fan to the other side. I didn't use the supplied thermal paste, I used my own so I can't comment on the included thermal paste. Overall it seems to work well.

For the price this is a pretty decent air cool solution. Still might get something better and use this as a backup.

DEEPCOOL GAMMAXX400: I replaced the intel stock cooler on my i5-3450, and at 80% CPU load this new cooler is able to dissipate heat without the fan ramping up and down. This keeps the noise level to a barely perceptible hum, which I think is actually the case fan and not the cooler. I also saw a reduction in temperature of about 5-7 degrees C in temperature. Absolutely worth $20 for a significantly quieter computer and possibly a longer CPU life. I should have upgraded the stock cooler a long time ago.

Unless you know pcs well and how to install cpu coolers it's easy to install noise level could be quieter but hey I got for 15 so it's not bad for the price and you can just switch the fan for a quieter one anyways. It has good range of cpu compatibility as well since I still use am3 it's nice to have a cpu cooler that can be upgraded to a am4 without having to buy new mounting brackets

Bought this to try out on a customer's gaming desktop that was having problems with a liquid cooled system. Installed this heatsink and fan and it worked great. The tubes are copper so it does a good job dissipating heat. If they could quiet the fan down just a little it would be great.

Estoy muy satisfecho con el producto, considero que tiene un buen precio para lo que ofrece. Sin duda lo recomiendo.

The fact that it had ALL the pertinent hardware for any application, and was a perfect fit. Very easy to install, and works perfectly

Awesome item

Wasn't horrible to install once I watched a youtube video, installation instructions stink.

Liked the price and works well. Kinda bulky but it works good

It was a little tough to install, given I did not lay the case down and did everything laying on my side, on the floor, but it wasn't too hard. Compared to the old stock heat sync this one really keeps the CPU temps down, think the highest I have seen is 52 degrees C - which is way under the 90 degrees C max. The motherboard controls the fan speed and when it ramps up, it cools right off. This cooler will not fit in anything but a full height case - it is tall. But it works great. Oh, yes it has fancy blue lights, don't care, but it does make for a blue glow from the closed-up case in the dark.

Purchased this heatsink as a more budget friendly version of a widely used major brand, and it is really an good deal at this price. It appears well made, the mounting system is reasonably easy to use, and the included heatsink compound seems to work pretty well. It keeps my I5-10400F CPU just a couple degrees C above room temp, and it never goes above 50C which is great cooling. The only problem is the included fan isn't great. It has a slight hum and vibration to it, almost like it's slightly off balance. I put up with it for a week and swapped the fan for a Noctua 120mm and now it's silent and cools just as well as a big brand heatsink while still being $25+ cheaper.

This is a very nice product. It really keeps my computer cool and from over heating. It comes with all the hardware to install and is easy to install with the brackets. I would recommend.

Working perfectly fine on my Ryzen 5 3600. Installation was quite easy. Idle temperature goes from 37-40°C / 98.6°F-104°F and working at 100% it reaches around 66°C / 150°F

it is the best option for this price compare to wraith stealth cooler (-28C) but it is hard to install in the case

I threw together an old PC build to play some older games. Using an FM2 based CPU, I knew it would be a little harder to find something. This worked perfectly, the CPU runs nice and cool compared to the crappy stock cooler.

Cools great works great

So I like to keep all my computer parts I ever buy and I had the fun idea to take my really old FX 4100 AMD system and slap together a scrap wood PC frame to mount it to. I had everything to make it run except a CPU cooler. Since it’s as old as it is I didn’t want to spend much on it. That’s when I came across this cooler. To start off, no instructions except some crazy diagram on the box flap. Which for me was fine because I build computers all the time and it took a few minutes to figure out which brackets to use without it.The mounting does have a cheaper material feel to it if I’m being honest. It was like 20$ I was expecting that. My CPU uses am3 socket/mount. The cooler mount uses the stock motherboard mount latches and literally just four screws for the brackets. Putting the cooler on was fairly easy, for me at least.. Everyone is subject to different scenarios. It came with paste but I had corsair paste from my previous build left over that I used instead.I also had a left over corsair 120mm radiator fan that I slapped on it instead, fits the fan brackets perfectly. I just didn’t want the blue LED is all.Now keep in mind the old FX AMD processors ran crazy hot. I ran this CPU mining full load for a few hours just because I was curious and had absolutely no heating issues. So this is a fully capable CPU cooler for 20$.If you are not wanting to spend top dollar for literally just an air cooler, this one should work just fine for anything along the lines of AMD FX all the way through the new AMD 5600x and possibly the 5800x. Im not too sure about trying to be an overclocking champion of course, you shouldn’t be looking at 20$ coolers if you’re going that route. I recommend this cooler for non overclocking setups and cheap builds.

The 11th gen core i5 11400 has the ability to unlock its power limit of 65W TDP to 125W on my AsRock B560m Pro 4 AC motherboard which is how I conducted all my tests. So your mileage may vary.Pros: works much better than a stock Intel cooler.averaging 28-30 degrees idle and about 55-62 degrees while using a synthetic benchmark like Cinebech. It's typically stays under 60 degrees while gaming. Noise is a very pleasant, faint humm .Cons: the metal is VERY sharp and can cut your skin fairly easy. Installation on my micro ATX build was a pain pushing those plastic thumb screws. Took me longer than I'm proud to admit. Also, the blue LED is always on which I've actually grown to like overtime. Does not look too bad but you can't turn it off.Overall: For the current price of $15.99 as of the date of my review you really can't beat the performance per dollar. With PC components being expensive nowadays, cutting costs on things like a CPU cooler will be easier on most peoples budgets. I'd recommend this cooler for anyone looking to get a great deal and still deliver awesome performance.

Works better than I expected
